03-2021: Loading Issues

The team's now been able to fix the loading issues for most of our players. If you're still experiencing issues, please contact our support team and they'll be happy to assist you!

The team's made a few back-end changes that should resolve login issues for many of you.
 
We've also found an issue related to the use of WebGL, a technology used for 3D graphics. If you are still unable to log in, you can check if you have enabled WebGL in your browser here:
 
How To Enable WebGL in Chrome:
  • Open a Chrome browser window and go to chrome://settings.
  • Scroll down to Show Advanced Settings at the bottom of the page.
  • Scroll to the System section.
  • In your Chrome URL bar, go to chrome://flags.
  • Ensure that WebGL is enabled, and not disabled (You'll need to relaunch Chrome for any changes to take effect)

How to Enable WebGL in Edge:

  • In an Edge browser window, type edge://settings/system in the URL field.
  • Ensure that "Use hardware acceleration when available" is checked.
  • If you need to check it, be sure to restart your browser afterward so the change takes effect.

How to Enable WebGL in Firefox:

  • Open a Firefox web browser page. Type about:config into the URL bar.
  • Search for webgl.disabled.
  • Ensure that its value is false (any changes take effect immediately without relaunching Firefox). If the value is true, you can change it to false by clicking it.

How to Enable WebGL in Safari:

  • Go to Safari's Preferences.
  • Select the Advanced tab.
  • Ensure that the Show Develop menu in the menu bar checkbox is checked.
  • In Safari's Develop menu, ensure that Enable WebGL is checked.

If you are still experiencing issues, please ensure you've also cleared your cookies and other app data along with your cache. Instructions are included in the hyperlinks in the previous update.

If you've completed these and are still having loading issues, we recommend using Incognito Mode on your browser. Please find the steps here.

Incognito Mode is a temporary solution while the team continues to work on a fix.

We've found that it a browser cache issue and we have some steps to help get you back in the game. Please:

  1. clear your browser cache
  2. close and re-open your browser
  3. re-log back into Facebook
  4. play!
Please know your first login attempt may take a few minutes as the new version is cached.

After successfully porting Gardens of Time off of Flash and to our new platform, we've become aware that some players are experiencing loading issues when trying to start. We're actively looking into the cause and we'll let you know once we find the solution.
